Who's to blame?
If I die this minute, I want no tears
For no one is here to share my fears
The fears aren’t just mine alone
But been given to me to bear on my own
Ah, I know, it’s just me

No one understands the way I fret
Or seem to harbor any worry or regret
It cuts me to the very bone
Yet still they’re mine to bear alone
Ah, I know, it’s just me

Those I loved and thought I knew
Weren’t there for me, and they know it’s true
The pressure mounts, but no one cares
The burdens are still mine alone to bear
Ah, I know, it’s just me

No one cares about my distress
Could care less if I died from cardiac arrest
As long as their needs come first, nothing else matters
To hell with me, my dreams all shattered
Ah, I know, it’s just me

So if I die today, don’t act as if you care
Because when I needed you most, you weren’t there
You’ve made me your scapegoat, did nothing to alleviate my fears
So if I die today, don’t shed phony tears
Ah, I know, it’s just me
It’s always just me
