A description of a feeling.
Your heart it beats so fast,
your palms began to sweat,

You try to go to sleep,
but this thing you cant forget.

At last you close your eyes,
oh good, now I can rest,

But your heart, it beats so hard
that it could pop right out your chest.

Your eyes are now wide open,
in the dark you lay awake,

So much is going through your mind,
your leg begins to shake.

At the wall you stare,
so many things you ponder,

You start to toss and turn,
as your mind begins to wander.

You wish to go to sleep,
but your mind is occupied,

You cannot seem to shut your eyes,
no matter what youve tried.

And so the hours pass,
you now began to yawn,

But you look outside your window,
just to find that it is dawn.
