The Rising Angel 2


Crippled wings
A somber scene
A broken heart
Unforgiving sin

Broken by thy light
A mounting wrath
A blacken curse
A unified hatred

Came in whispers
Arrived in secrecy
A hand pierced softly
Cracked me within me

Secret whisperer,
Thou art angel
Whispers in me
A magnificent love story

The moon’s love
Of a raindrop
Hath never come
Yet I felt thy presence
Among blizzard and storm

Gunned by thy light
Sorrow that I thought would never end
Purified by thy love
Flying free,
Us,
The two doves.

Non of us care
After what they say
Just close our eyes
Watch the bright stars
Above us, together…
