For the luminous people around us
As the Earth spins around,
You listen to its tired thoughts
Time after time
And the world rests on your shoulder.
And if you cry, and if you smile
For the wounds that you heal,
The angels know by heart
Your dreams never getting older,
The hopes that you feel
And the stars shining in your eyes.
