a poem about depression

Caught in a maze,
There’s no way out.
Through twists and turns,
I scream and shout.

Will someone hear?
Or rescue me?
Will I struggle,
Till I’m free?

Depression has me
In her vice like grip.
And welcomes me in,
With her poisoned lips.

No stranger to me,
She’s my best friend.
To this deep dark maze,
There seems no end.
