Vampire lady awaits her lover's return
Lady vampire waits upon her throne all made of gold and silver,
Light streams down from the murky shades of Hell torn asunder,
Pale white skin with blackened feathers and shades of red lipstick,
Bones of victims crowd around her begging for her pleasure.

"Where have thou gone o Lover of Light behind me?"
"Did you not tear out my Soul's breath and leave me to whither?"
"Why did you depart in the misty dawn of night's shadows?"
"How were the words 'I love you' so difficult a burden to bear?"

Shadows parted and flames grew bright around the witch watch,
Beasts of burden groaned at the passing of Light within their midst,
"O' troubled soul do not grieve for me in the passing of the night,"
"Sit with splendor and beauty instead, give me the best of your life."

Lady vampire shifted, uncomfortable under the mask of scrutiny,
"How dare you tell me how to rule, how to love, how to feel?"
"You cast me aside like some mangy mongrel, no morsel to spare!"
"Drowned in your unrequited love don't mock what you can't see!"

A dusty cackling came from the Light Within from the deepest dark,
"You look in the mirror and see love lost, not found tonight,"
"Your desperate longings for a life full of blood, lust, and revenge,"
"Cost you the love you seek, a treasure lost and found."

Lady vampire lies sleeping now under a pale coat of dust,
Lady vampire sees only lies trapped in her demented past.
