A kamikaze pilot's thoughts before his final flight.
The calm before the storm
The drone of circling Zeroes
Time was nonexistent
He must leave this world a hero

Fear of death was absent
Within the Rising Sun
A servant of the king
Still a mother’s only son

Reflections on the past
Thoughts of the flight to come
Knowing it was the last
As he flew to martyrdom
