I wrote this for a friend in the hospital. It really cheered him up.
Life's a big game,
That all of us play,
Each action we do,
Each word that we say.

So play your game well,
No matter the cost,
You can then say, "I won",
Instead of, "I lost".

Now I know what you're thinking,
It's not whether you win or you lose,
This game's about choices,
But which do we choose?

Move this piece? Then that one?
Or switch it around?
I'm not sure it's right,
But this I have found.

You must learn all you can,
And give thanks for each day,
In this game we call life,
Just love, laugh, and play.
