the conflicts we face, and the changes we're beginning to encounter
The wind breathes below a strong and shiny sun, but it all remains cold and dark. Clouds move and cluster in constant cycles, confusing all who gaze upon them and blinding the world from the true reality of our purpose. The sun rests on one side, casting eternal shadow upon the right. A combination of light, dark and twilight in a single second. No direction in the wind; rather, it circles constantly, raising the capes of those who accept its prescence. The blades of grass conform to the movements of each other, creating a massive movement that is stopped easily by only the presence of an observer. A western wind creates a comfortable warm environment, yielding calm and comfort. Sweeping alternately is an eastern wind that engulfs the soul, heart, and senses, that achieves such a level of pleasantness that reason and logic prove unnecessary. It threathens to consume the western wind, by challenging happiness with joy.
Thus the cycle continues, warmth and cold, light and dark, opposing forces that themselves cancel the movement of time, yet foreshadow it's dreaded advance. Any change in the pattern will break it and develop a new one from the shards of lost memories, leftover feelings and abandoned prospects. How will this change occur? one cannot know whether fate is brave enough to materialize in the hand of destiny the power to unite all, to conquer darkness and master light. The power that will maintain the balance of twilight; the power that will end a cycle and avoid a new one, instead combining all into an intricate balance that is avoidant of shifts. And even if this balance does occur, there remains dissonance to be resolved. Is it worth to abandon the security of one wind for the possibilities of the other? Is it worth to attempt a peace that can only exist through chaos? Is the red, blazing sun setting or rising?
Is the world moving on, or is it frozen in time?
