We
Category: Writing and Poetry

I place your hands so that you may lay me on a bed of thistles.

My mouth pierced with unspoken pain and love.

Our kisses turning numb tongues to silence, making us metallic.

Soft fluid movements exchanging emotions, while raw wounds try to heal between us.

We twist our bodies among these pinions, yet still feel the comfort of the familiarity.

Twin souls caught in infinite struggle, clawing at pride while holding to hope No option but victory

We fall to hardened earth to dust away disappointment, And again I give my body so that you might place me

You find I am the only light amongst the darks of sorrow and reality,As I find my warrior to defeat horned demons beautifully cloaked.

And somehow we find solace in a place of thorns that we have made.
