My Newest Poem
The Crates








Wooden boxes of the same size,
Lettering on each and every one.
There were some that were old,
And some that were new,
Each one had a specific use,
Not one was left out,
It was always in need.
Wooden boxes back in the day,
Held a Legacy that is gone today.
Wooden boxes still remain,
I look at them every day.
And as I do,
I see more than wooden boxes,
But cherished memories of yesterday!
