The Meeting

They had driven several hundred miles to reach the cemetery. Walking solemnly
among the stones, they found the family plot beneath the sycamore. Colin stood with her, cap in hand, beside her mother’s grave. “Mother,” Sarah said proudly, “This is Colin. I know you thought I’d never find anyone to marry me, but I did.”

Journeying to the cemetery, they travel hundreds of miles into the past. Among
sun-dappled gray stones, they find it -- the sycamore shaded family plot. Colin
reverently grasps Sarah's hand in one hand, his cap in the other. "Mother, this
is Colin." Sarah proclaims. "You thought I'd never find anyone to marry me. I
did."
