Short poem I wrote last year...
"Regurgitation of Life"

Lick the un-healing wound which formed our existence
Swallow the once-flowing blood that created our essence
Regurgitate life to that of ourselves

Away from the Church performing closet confessions
Flip a dime to the wishing-well over the head of a peasant
Set the Book of Morality to collect dust on the shelf

Shield our brightness as we fully eclipse our crescents
Push away their feast as we scrape our intestines
Ignore the answers of others to question ourselves

Teach the class by conducting no lessons
Offer no contributions to the fields we’re best in
Plug our ears with advice as others cry out for help

Everyday of our life we blind others by presence
One set of footprints leaving only remains of transgressions
With no addition to man we finally run out of wealth
