Poem about contemplating suicide.
Uninvited and unannounced
A gun blast of despair
Has blown away my sanest thoughts
And caught me unawares

I cannot focus anymore
I am a nervous wreck
I fantasize a dangling rope
About my broken neck

Legs lash the air as bowels loose
Slow motion scenes slides past
Before I take this binding step
The question should be asked

Shall I be happy when I die?
All hushed inside my head:
The answer is, you cannot die
When you’re already dead
