When your words of the heart creates anger in the hearts of others.
"Can't You Hear the Scratch?"



Purple faces pry
Their words, like sandpaper, wear and tear.
My spirit's cry
Falls on ears that only pretend to care.

To be heard is a plea
My voice spins on a turntable to no avail.
The tune lost its glee
Highlights of what I sing has turned pale.

My song is broken.
Can't you hear the scratch?
