Everyone has problems...
Be cautious, think clearly, the ending may come
While you sit there alone feeling hopeless and numb
Staring at the ceiling, but not really seeing it
But looking out on the world and not wanting to quit
Not wanting to quit, but feeling hated
Feeling lost and lonely and sanely debated
A good thing may happen a bad may occur
Tears come to your eyes, your vision is a blur
Straighten up, act adult, don’t act like such a child
You try to hold back tears while your mind is running wild
What happened to this world? What made it so depressing?
Getting through the day without tears is a blessing
Where’s the world we read about? Is it lost? Where’s it been?
In them people are loving and happy, maybe that’s why its fiction
Fifty thousand problems stacked up so high
On the outside you smile, but on the inside you cry
There’s nothing to do now but go back to sleep
Put a smile on tomorrow and try not to weep
Maybe tomorrow life will give you a break
Knowing there’s not much more you can take
Maybe you'll finally get some answers to your questions
Or just more and more problems, because deep down inside you know it never ends
