I’ve walked many trails in life,

Never finding one true meaning,

Waiting for someone to save me,

Looking you right into the eyes,

Hoping to see you in my future,

Setting up my mind to fail,

Wishing you’d never leave,

One day to be mine forever,

Afraid to love you,

Scared to lose you,

Wanting to hold you close,

Never to leave you there again
