A letter to someone who has kept somebody on standby.
September 26, 2006

You,
I don’t know what to say or do anymore, my words and thoughts are wrapped in what ever you say or do to me. I’m tired of living my life this way, of living in this state perpetual of limbo that is called my life and I just cant take it anymore. You have me hanging in a closet full of choices, to use when you want to. Out of your many choices I’m the one in the front that you see every day but never choose. When you see me you think, " Oh, not today, maybe tomorrow", never realizing how much I can do for you, so you choose the one that does nothing but hinder you. Next time you go to your closet take me out and take a good long look, you might be surprised. You could even see something there that you like and maybe even something that can help instead of hinder. To help you grow and be the person you are meant to be instead of what other people's lives dictate. And maybe you won't see anything, if you don't then can you please remove me from your closet and finally take me off that hanger. You can even give me back to myself or give me to someone else, but please free me from this if you no longer need or want me. Please let me go so that I can go to someone else, someone who needs me. Please.
