crazy lil poem i wrote....please make your own conclusion.....
these dark woods
invite my beckoning soul
these treacherous paths lead me to hell
to my own hell....a prison
death row
on the front lines of superiority
that's where you are
above me....the judge and the jury
as i await my sentence from the trees and rain
black nite comes to me again
the pulpit's on fire
waiting to judge me a liar
branches and leaves begin to fall
as fire from the sky engulfs you all
don't look at me with eyes of your fathers
judgements don't settle with me
not tonight or ever
as the pulpit's fires join hands with the sky's
my eyes draw upward wondering what to do
is this a sign of my fight
or am i to die tonight
these flames don't effect me but the shrills of the others
leaves me with goosebumps
leaves me with a smile
i am fucked up...in my own mind i cannot see
not the truth of what the woods see
not the truth of the judge and jury
just the fact that i got out of this predicament
from the fires up above....that aren't much different from the ones below
so who's to know
if my walk was right or wrong
if it was short or long
not even i.....not you or them
just remember in these woods the judgements
....and what happened......
