a poem that sort of contradicts itself...can't really explain it...read it...
When you were born a while ago,
did you think we would meet?
Did you think you would be my love
and I would be your sweet?
Did you believe in love at first
or love that takes a while?
Did you believe there'd be a worst
or days complete with smiles?

My angel, did you hear my name
a thousand times before?
And did you think the name proclaimed
the one you would adore?
Or were we just an accident
just passers on the street
to realize each moment spent
together was a treat

Oh no, dear love, not meant to be
we found each other, true
By choice, you are the one for me
and I, the one for you
No, not by force did we become
but simply, love, by choice
And we have come to breathe as one
together, we rejoice

When you were born a while ago
you pondered not of me
Your life was one discovery
not of what's meant to be
But when you caught my eye one day
did you think we would be?
Did you think you would be my love
and I would be your sweet?
