unrequited love
I looked at you a thousand times
Saw that there was something new
How could I have been so blind?
We shared our secrets in the dark
Though we were only friends
I don’t know when the feeling
Changed within my heart
I keep it to myself
I’m falling in love with you
It gets harder everyday
Cause you don’t know the love I feel
And I don’t want to push you away
I dream of you all through the night
Holding you tenderly
Wrapped up in my arms so tight
Right here next to me
Now you say you’ve found someone
To share your life with you
I long to tell you how I feel
I just wish you felt the same way too
You come to me
With bated breath
I wait to hear about this person more
You bent down upon one knee
And asked the question
“Will you marry me?”
Now we will be together
Forevermore.
