romantic view of sunrise
As the night meets the day
The horizon starts to lighten
The lavender wisps of clouds
Lazily drift away overhead
Shots of gold streak
Through the clouds
As the fingers of the rising sun
Intimately caress them
Amplifying the other colors
That the night time never shows
The brilliant blues, the emerald hues
Where the ocean meets the sky
This is the place I would take you to be
Alone, just you and I.
