An assassin and his job lined up for him
In an instant he was dead. The guard fell to the ground, the dagger protruding from his neck. Meanwhile on a rooftop, lying in wait, the assassin crouched. Black garbs flowed in the wind, concealing him. He sprang from the rooftop, retrieving the knife. A two-story house stood behind steel gates.

With a single leap, he was laying in the grass. He slipped into the house through a basement window, only to be greeted by a field of lasers. He weaved in and out, prudently moving though the laser field. Once upstairs, he made his way to the living room. Meanwhile, General H.T. Halitsao was nestled in a chair by a fire in the very same living room. The General stood and turned, only to have a knife sink into his chest. As his life seeped away, the assassin whispered in his ear," I am the Great Aran, the greatest assassin the world has ever known." And with that sentence, the General died.

Aran pulled out the knife and wiped the blood onto the General's robe. He jumped out the window and rolled onto the grass. Shadows concealed Aran as he made his escape, but one of the shadows had eyes.

And it had a plan.
