Wrote this listening to a Jim Brickman song; please R&R.
Birds calling goodnight
And light fading to dark.
Never have you looked better
Than you do right now

The air's turning cooler
As the sun goes down
Soon, very soon
We'll both be called home

But for now, let's enjoy
A little bit of twilight
Just you and me being
wrapped in a warm embrace

The sky and land
look lovely this evening
No clouds, no sun
Just a deep blue covering everything

I'm so glad I get
to share this time with you
Before we go home for the last time
home for good and all
