This is a short story I wrote. It might interest you.
The Four Teens walked up toward the school door. Unable to move. This was an abandoned school that they were staring at. The story they heard was unbearable at this point. They walked up and opened the door. Walked in and stopped. It was just a rat. Man, this school must be old.
