Humorous lyrics about the Garden Of Eden
Garden Disaster

It started off right, it started off swell
Caviar from the tree, Perrier from a well.
A garden so delightful, honey drips from the vines,
each morning brings it’s glory and they live a life divine.
The man loves his lady and the lady loves her gent
The landlord keeps things tidy and He doesn’t charge no rent.
Paradise is perfect, Paradise is plush,
Nobody ever dies, nobody makes a fuss .
Then along comes the serpent with a piece of bad advise.
He says,
“Lady eat that apple while it’s fresh and ripe.”

“Why thanks, I surely will,
You don’t have to ask me twice.”

If the lady only knew snakes just aren’t the honest type.

Well now, hell had been restrained by a holy truce
‘til the snake slithered in, then all hell broke loose.....

It was a garden disaster, like a hurricane but faster,
blew the leaves right off the tree.
A garden disaster, didn’t listen to the Master,
Landlord changed the lock and key.
It was a garden disaster.

Gent blames the Lady, Lady blames the Snake,
Snake laughs at them and said
“For goodness sakes
You blame, you complain!
You blew it all yourself ,
and now you feel the shame!
Better pack and get on out ..
I didn’t do a thing!
Just remember
this won’t be over ‘til
the fat lady sings!”

It was a garden disaster, like a hurricane but faster,
honey dried up on the vines
A garden disaster, didn’t listen to the Master,
Man was shown the Exit sign.
It was a garden disaster....

You choose your destination, then
you try to hide!
You give up Paradise and
for what?...your silly pride?!
The Master was prepared with a sweet Disaster Plan.
Don’t reject it, accept it,
It’s in place for everyman.

Don’t worry ‘bout the fat lady,
don’t wait for her to sing,
‘cause it was all over when
Christ was crowned the King.

It was a garden disaster,
like a hurricane but faster,
blew the leaves right off the trees
A garden disaster, won’t you listen to the Master?
Won’t you listen to the Master?
