About life
Do you ever feel as if this life
is just a pathetic everlasting game
that you can't escape from
no matter how fast you run
or where it is that you hide?
Well guess what? It's not.
You always have to keep on going,
keep moving forward
in the dark of night
or the light of day
because if you don't,
it's over for you.
Too bad.
Nobody's gonna waste their time
cryin' over you or your ignorance.
Everyone's too busy trying to make change
in the free world
or to make themselves perfect
But for what?
A pointless reward of power maybe?
Nobody's original, they're all here for the same things.
That's just the way it is,
humans were created
to brew problems of mischief
That's how we were trained,
to go to the extreme
to please ourselves.
There's no heart in any of us for someone else.
So why do we keep moving in this direction?
Haven't we gained enough knowledge and experience
to fix our mistakes?
To become better people?
Someday.
Someday this life will be better.
We can't lose hope, can't be lost to despair.
This race will pull through.
Someday.
