Melissa was always told she was attractive. Then tough-guy Scott ruins everything
As Melissa entered her math room, she was surrounded by guys. "would you like me to take your books for you Melissa?" one asked. Another asked "would you like me to give up my seat for you Melissa?" Melissa just rolled her eyes. She had always been told she was the most attractive girl in the school, which wasn't saying a lot since her private school had two grade levels each consisting of about 50 girls. "No, I can handle my books and I'll sit in my own seat thank you" she stated. They backed off but continued to stare at her the whole time. She had noticed one guy who sat and watched all the other guys swarm around her. Soon the bell rang and the teacher, Mr. Lonile, walked in.
"Bache, Jeremy?"
"here"
Bilen, Kayla?"
"here"
Brant, Melissa?"
"here"
Mr.Lonile contined taking roll and soon after everyone heard a name they had never heard before.
"Kinle, Scott?"
The new kid raised his hand and stated "here." Everyone stared at him. Mr. Lonile got very annoyed at this and called attention to the class.
"yes, we have a new student today, his name is Scott Kinle, but that doesnt stop the class so please open up your notebooks to the homework assignment that was assigned yesterday" Mr. Lonile stated. Everyone groaned and pulled out their notebooks. "good Jeremy, good Kayla, good Melissa, Jacob, where is your homework?" he asked, getting very annoyed. This was the third assignment Jacob had missed. "well you see Mr. Lonile my cat went crazy last night and scratched up my homework last night thinking it was a rat" he explained. Melissa turned around, "that would be a good excuse if you HAD a cat Jacob" she said and turned back around. "Jacob please see me after class" Mr. Lonile said. Jacob leaned over to Melissa. "why couldnt you just let me get away with it?" he asked. "because nearly everyone in the class knows you dont have pets" she whispered back. "aw come on nobody else would have ratted on me" he said. "why dont you just do your homework Jacob it would save you so much time than having to make up excuses why you dont have it" Melissa stated. "because that would pull away from my time with you" Jacob said. Melissa liked Jacob and Jacob liked Melissa but neither would admit to it. "Melissa and Jacob stop talking!" Mr. Lonile shouted. "Sorry Mr. Lonile" they said in unison. "Apology Accepted, Jacob since you did your homework but didnt bring it with you you can go to the board and write out the answer to the first problem" Mr. Lonile said. "well I would Mr. Lonile but im allergic to chalk and the front of classrooms" Jacob said. The whole class started laughing. "Jacob go to the office" he said, Jacob got up and left. He turned in the doorway. "BYE EVERYONE! I'M GOING TO SEE MY BEST FRIEND MRS. TUNEBLE!" he shouted. Everyone started laughing again. "Everyone, there is an example of what NOT to do in my class. That kid is a trouble-maker and he'll never be anything in life" Mr. Lonile explained. "WHAT! how can you talk that way about one of your own students! you cant talk that way about Jacob he's probably a lot smarter than you!" Melissa shouted. "Melissa, you can join him in the office" he said. "FINE BY ME!" Melissa shouted. With that, Melissa grabbed her books and walked out of the classroom.
