thirty- seven and where did the time go

it never slowed down for me

exept when i was depressed and then time

like molasses it ran

thirty -seven

and a mother of three ,a teacher

with so much to learn

about raising men and women

mine,out of and into conciousness

thirty -seven

with so much time to go but never enouph

to see,live and become everything

thirty seven,a number you never think of at fifteen

but you'll get there non the less

and you arrive

confused and bewildered
