Love sucks
There was something in your eyes
Something vague, and hard to understand
You made her heart stop
She was breathless
He said "Don't do it, man!"
and he was right, you shouldn't have
she fell in love
just to be wounded
You didn't love her
You never planned on it
She gave up, stopped trying
She knew it would always be the same
she left, with tears streaming down her face
Yet she still crawled on her belly
And begged for forgiveness
For circumstances that were not her fault
Now she sits in the dark
Wondering what could have been
While the boil of hate festers in your mind
She's confused, not knowing what to do
She misses you so, but she knows
It's not going to happen
Covetous people, for vengeance
ruined everything with stupid imaturities
She had no defense, she was caught off guard
Silence was all she had to offer
The culprit of the loss, the reason there are tears
There's a gaping void in her heart
She tries to fill it, but the pieces just don't fit
they aren't Like his kiss
They aren't like his touch
they aren't like the comfortable silence
you and her used to pleasure in
The hungry embraces in the dark
the desirous cries, the always wanting more
Soft skin and nails digging deep
Serpentine motions and blissful smiles
Are all retired, the moment has flown
She trusts in the reel of her memories
Playing the movie over and over
Rewinding the scenes where you appeared
To be intoxicated by her
That's all She has left, is the movie of a broken Romance
