A poem about nature, written without the letter E.
Lying on a grassy plain,
I drink in rays of sunlight.
Arms up, I want to grab my sky:
My sky, and my sky only.
Now I’m rolling down my hill,
And tasting all my raindrops.
I shout, I sing; I’m glad today,
For nothing can obstruct my path.

But hark! I spy a moving shadow,
Staining now my calm hilltop.
It cannot stay, it must turn back,
And with it bring its loud disruption.
Wait for no imploring cry,
Nor parting wail of sorrow.
Banish all who charming look,
And know within malicious thought.

Though many would cut down my oaks,
I cannot think to shut out all,
For I might, wanting a companion,
Miss out on our lavish gift.
