A poem on the loss of a loved one and the pain and the loss that you might feel about it.
So numb without you, so lost and confused,
It’s easier to run, the face life without you.
Feeling heartless and needy, the shock overcomes,
The pain inside just, continues to drum.

Continue to hope, pray for a new day,
Without you beside me, forward I can’t say.
Weeping and Woeing, are you watching me now?
Smiling down from your house in the clouds?

I would give it all to see you again,
A strong hand to grasp, a strong heart to care.
Onwards can I go, how much can I bare,
Why is this pain, why is life so unfair.

Faith, I've been told, by all to have,
But how can I when it’s torn from my hands?
Joking and laughing, these things I can’t do.
They left me when you did, pained to be true.

Lost and listless, blind to the light,
I can only hope you stay in my heart this night.

Goodbye my other, my pillar, my strength,
I love you forever, till my very last breath.
