The only way I can keep you with me through my fading days.
Clad with sweat, blood, and sand,
I ducked beneath a corpses’ land,
Steadily reloading an empty machine,
As peevish foes crept, invading the scene.
Bang-bang, I maneuvered and click;
Bang-bang, Another swing and kick.

Every turn is like the madman’s dance,
Stab here, shoot there, in a trance.
This battle has age with nothing to win,
Yet, it goes, with no pause in between.
Why I kill, is part of the duty they say,
So bear with my soul, I hear you pray.

The day has dawned; I am still here,
Fighting for a cause and life, My Dear!
Took one glimpse at the ring I brought,
Saw your sweet face that I wrapped in thought.
Alas! A triggered hole has found my chest,
Now my languid spirit heads for the final rest.*Leaf4*
