poem that's children safe and fun
Smiling with razors bared
the cat watches the horse work.
Trodding along plowing
row after row unceasing.
The cat catches a mouse
and slurps the tail like a noodle.
The horse goes on plowing
row after row unceasing.
The cat stretches and yawns
and lays out under the sun.
The horse is working on
row after row unceasing.
The cat gets up to do
whatever he wants to do,
but before the cat leaves
he sees the horse plowing on.
