some habits are hard to break...
On my way home
some other day
I turned the wrong way
and cried right quick.
For I had not even thought.
The truth is, it felt right---
while my home was to the left. Habit Intruded.

On my way home
just the other day
the same vex offended.
My tears ran again.
It was a different intersection
with even less thought involved.

A moment between agenda
and entertaining the instinct of my heart,
I made a turn.
