Women don't appear to be as kindred as we should be.
Sistah Apparition

For ghostly reasons
my sistah’s forsake me
they are visions
more beautiful than I
smarter than I
richer than I
yet they are an apparition
radiant shades of skin
that I can walk thru
being with me
then leaving me
as inanimate as a chair
nesting and favoring
sensibilities teddy bear
shrugging my shoulders
left out the explanation…
before I too disappear
into dubious mountains
savoring delectable
fingers of self pity
I’ll just wait and see
