A poem about locking yourself away from the world and shielding your feelings.
My house

In all the halls, In all the rooms,
In all the listless thoughts assumed
i've sured the walls, I've sured the views
I've sured the doors that people use
from wing to wing, from thought to thought,
the arches of my mind distort,
my cobbled hearth
my wooden flaws
the mental gate to reinsure
my house is safe
my house supplied
and deny the wicked world outside.
