A poem about delving into the memory of a child and the magic of that world.
Rhubarbs and Nunchooks

Into a land
The Nunchooks abide
Their cat is a spy
The river runs on

Into the trees
Onto the swing
Throw off the frog
The river runs on

Into the tunnel
But not out again
The current is strong
The river runs on.

Into the dark
A girl disappears
A black and white song
The river runs on

Into the rhubarbs
The jungle begins
A purplish tinge
The river runs on

Into a place
Where memories grow
And time will concede
The river will flow.
