Poem I wrote a couple of years ago.
Rain falls like tear drops
Forming mirrors on the ground
Reflecting darkness to the sky

Footsteps echo down empty streets
A stranger walks cloaked in shadow
Seeking darkness inside

In buildings filled with dying men
Those waiting alone for their time
Dark and empty inside

Empty eyes staring out of shadows
Seeking those already empty
Hands of bone reaching...
