Tale of a night and the impact on life
Alas,
“the world is a stage....”
and players, that’s what we have been
by chance a meeting came and went
and yet another time was sent.
All by fate have our paths ventured forth,
bearing straight under a moon seemingly north,
comes a kiss
transcends us on a plot...and what’s the worth.

By chance, a night brings the demons of morality
and bringing yet moments, a gift, reality.
Can times like these test the serenity of life?
And even more confusion to my meaning of life.
Fog cast upon the night
dew that is lifted by morning’s bright
still with the lack of memory...morality, reality
how vivid was my sight.

*****************
The year has passed
within it a past,
an introduction to my fate by you,
how apropos and crass.

****************
An enigma,
you and I
a moment for a sigh
like the last of the swordsmen,
we duel,
standing ground as to defend
all that is too precious for us to lend.
Hearts, emotions, sadness and joy
things like this... we so avoid.

Life...so filled and the juxtaposition, if you will
each second and space that we fill.
And yes,
now it stands an exotic arrangement
giving off the bold and the erotic
smell and touch,
please seek just one more look,
to taste and to listen, if you dare
but as you fear....
It will bring back all that we lacked
on that night,
we so revere.
