This is another one of my poems i wrote while in high school.
Like a bird you have given me the wings to
fly.
The strength and courage to claim the sky.
A breeze to lift me from my own shaky wings.
Saving me from the rains that immaturity
brings.
My family has been a pond to drink from when
I thirst for love.
And when life leaves me flying, how you lift
me above,
all my problems, misfortune and most of all
the pain.
And when it was over you were my confidence,
and my reason to sing.
