The struggle of a confused man
Lost is he
Whose heart, mind, and soul
Have taken such a beating.

Beatings from the world.
From love.
From issues big and bold.

Every heartache
Is like a thousand daggers piercing.
Causing his fragile heart to break.

Blue skies turn to gray
And his mind wanders through torment
Day to day. Driving him insane.

Emptiness and night become one.
Sorrows embody his soul.
