Dust off all of the Things Grandma gave you, you never know when you'll need them.
Grandma's Things

Grandma's Things are all scattered around,
Who said "what's lost can never be found"?
Look in the attic and you will find,
All of the Things Grandma left behind.
Somewhere beyond the cobwebs and dust,
There are Things that will never grow rust.
Things she said when others were cruel,
The Things she helped with after school.
Times she scolded for too much fun,
The Things she taught when time was young.
Things unsaid, just like two old friends,
Thinking these Things would never end.
Timeless bits of advice about boys,
Things that are worth so much more than toys.
All of these Things Grandma gave to me,
It's taken me all these years to see.
So many Things, too many to say,
I'll try hard not to put them away.
The attic's too dark, dusty and dim,
To just leave all Grandma's Things in.
I'll cherish and use all of these Things,
And keep with me all of the happiness it brings.
