Short poem
Antique wrinkles slowly bake
Sun shrieks blistering shrills
Withered lips crack
Intermission for those
Cottage cheese thighs
Lethargic tranquility
Shopworn Mojito’s endure
Persisting trips to mouth and back
Slimy film from the well oiled engine
Sits lifeless upon seasoned flesh
Once a being of artistry
Now a contaminated creature of dejection
Embalmed in a makeshift reality
Arrogant glance through the chain link fence
An inferior world
