An attempt at a poem of life and death and the circle of life that encompasses both.
Feelings come in a flash.
Are they yours or mine?
A mirror into our souls,
A mirror of us, each the same, yet different.

I feel the wave of sadness,
Yet...whose?
The pain is real,
It burns and chills,
Tearing away til nothing is left.

Hopes are wasted, to each his own.
Tear drops fall, as the silence drives on.
A heart breaks, and like a puzzle is pieced back together.
The storm rages on and a single word breaks through as the cyclone halts.

Show me the meaning, the definition of life.
Dispell the pain in us both.
Banish the irony of the reflection.
Save us both from the cliffs of despair.

Let the cold become warm.
Let the hurt be soothed.
Wander on and find what is needed...
In each other.
