My first really decent poem.
As the rain falls you can see and feel the love that blossoms in a field
The love that dances round around on the grassy plains
But also the despair that comes with the rain
A cloudy confusing depression, a depression that is … -
INEVITABLE

A time of sorrow is bound to each life
A time of happiness too
Everyone can feel this happiness
Everyone except you

You, although not heartless
Do not know how to use yours
When all you do is kill
All you can do is kill

Thus I rest upon my bed thinking great wonders in my head
For once when I had emotions
I knew how to love but now that part of me
IS DEAD

Perhaps it’s the rain that allowed me to love
Perhaps it’s the rain that allowed me to grieve
Perhaps it’s the lacking of rain that shaped me
But how can it be when I am merrily a nothing

It is strange
I am not like my parents
They were good people and I
AM NOT

The funny thing is there lives had rain
And windows that were left open

These windows were solely open for a purpose
A purpose to let love in
Sorrow in
Emotion IN

Me … I’ve come to a conclusion
It was not that my life didn’t have rain
It’s that my windows were never open to let the rain in.
And thus I commence my life here.
For it is too late, my life is simply FAR TOO DRY
