A poem I wrote for a camp last summer. It's about how I feel about the ocean.
 Living Sea

Crash! A thundering wave
                Breaks the surface.
Shortly after one wave
                Comes another.
I hold my breath,
At the mercy of the ocean.
I feel a gentle tug after the wave.
The ocean is inviting me to play.
A child squeals
The beach is his playground.
A seagull screams.
The beach is his home.
Salty sea air is calming.
I feel at one with the tide.
              This is the Living Sea.
