the search for love through personal doubt and dispair

She leaves me with no words to speak

I have shed tears I thought, would never flow

My soul quiets when she speaks .

O woman thou art the eye of my storm.

As My soul rages, she sits inside me,

calming the tempest within.

A kiss stirs a hot wind, and it threatens,

the coast looms..., fearsome in its reality.

The edge of my sanity is ragged and frayed.

Battered by my heart and beset by her loves heat.

Sips of air come hard to my lungs. I am as a child

first learning to traverse this earth. Insecurity crowds

me and crushes my thoughts to the barest of instincts.

Thunderheads gather above me threatening.

O woman thou art my shelter from the maelstrom.

I struggle on leaden limbs to reach thy sanctuary.

Slipping to the floor , my baggage falls askew, as

lethargy claims me with reluctance, my battle is lost.

I am unburdened, my parcel of anguish loosed from

my grasp.

Lost in the protection, I drift into love.

I have found refuge from all poisons of the soul

O woman...

O woman... thou art...

Thou art my Love.

And I shall sleep in your arms

everlastingly
