This poem is based on an actual dream I had last year.
I never thought I was to blame, until the day "forever" came.
As I stepped up to the throne,
The reply came as "your not my own"
I begged and pleaded still some more,
Then he showed me to the door.
As I went I fell to my knees,
"Father, forgive me, owe God please".
I saw the tears form in his eyes,
But never did he give into my cries.
"I always meant to be like you, and stop the things that I might do".
"And child", he looked down and said,
"I always meant for you to be led".
Into my arms forever more, and not to be shown unto that door.
He pointed across the Heavenly skies,
Unto a door labeled, "Father of Lies".
As I walked along the crooked path,
I heard an evil haughting laugh.
Emotion so hard I couldn't see,
The hell that waited in front of me.
I never thought I was to blame,
Until the day "forever" came!
