We all behave badly once in awhile, but it's the good things we do that count
I Do I Try

I don’t go to church,
It doesn’t mean I don’t have faith.
I don’t always do the right thing,
Even though I know what the right thing is.
I hurt people sometimes,
I always feel guilty about it.
I lose my temper, I yell, I swear,
I do my best to control it.
I have felt hate, oh yes I’ve felt it,
But I have felt love, I’ve felt that more.
I am lazy and not very motivated,
Still I have dreams and deep thoughts.
I am the greatest pessimist I know,
But I’ve been hopeful at times.
I have many negative traits,
Just like everyone else I suppose.
I do bad things, but I try to be good!
